Status
The owner approved the product rules on this page for price, cancellation, refunds, and account deletion. This is not a counsel-reviewed legal agreement. A legal entity, postal address, and governing law are not stated.

Service
CompCheck helps resellers compare current asking prices from official marketplace APIs.
Asking prices are not sold prices, appraisals, or a guarantee that an item will sell.
A suggested range is withheld when the evidence is too thin, mixed, generic, or priced in currencies CompCheck does not combine.
Fewer than 3 listings in a condition filter do not produce an asking-price range.
When a range is shown, it is the low, median, and high band of the comparable asking prices that passed the filters.
Pasting an eBay or Etsy URL searches by words from that link. CompCheck does not open or value that specific listing.
Without those credentials, or when demo mode is on, CompCheck uses labeled demo fixtures and does not present them as live listings.
Profit estimates
Profit estimates use published US eBay and US Etsy fee schedules checked on 2026-09-24. They are not marketplace invoices.
Non-USD amounts are not converted.
The estimate subtracts the fee sketch, the item cost you enter, and the shipping you expect to pay. It excludes sales tax, promoted listings, Etsy Offsite Ads, insertion fees after a free-listing allotment, store subscriptions, category exceptions, and international processing uplifts.
Pricing
The free plan includes 5 lookups per UTC calendar month.
The Pro price is $9/month. A configured checkout charges the Stripe price id, which is set to that $9 monthly price before any live charge. Live charges are off.
Pro is $9/month. Unlimited lookups apply while the subscription is active or trialing, and they continue until the end of a paid period that is already scheduled to cancel.
A past-due subscription blocks lookups.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Live charges are off. CompCheck loads live Stripe keys only when STRIPE_LIVE_BILLING is exactly enabled, and that gate is off. Test mode does not charge real money.
Stripe test mode does not charge real money. Promotion codes are passed through to Stripe Checkout when checkout is available.
CompCheck does not store payment card numbers.
Stripe receives the account email, optional name, and an internal user id when a checkout customer is created.
Cancellation is started in the Stripe Customer Portal when billing is configured and the account already has a Stripe customer. The portal is set so cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. CompCheck keeps paid access until that period ends.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Paid lookups continue until that time. Scheduling cancellation, including Stripe cancel_at_period_end, does not remove paid access immediately.
After the paid period ends, the account returns to 5 free lookups per UTC calendar month.
Refund requests are reviewed individually through support. CompCheck does not promise an automatic refund.
Accounts
Registration asks for an email and a password of at least 8 characters. A name is optional.
Password reset uses a single-use link that expires one hour after it is created, and only if email sending is configured. The same response is returned whether or not the email is registered.
Changing a password while signed in does not send email.
There is no self-serve account deletion.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse API quotas or harvest beyond the account’s lookup allowance.
- Do not circumvent marketplace or CompCheck technical controls, and do not scrape marketplaces the product does not support.
- Do not use the service for unlawful activity.
